Abortion always kills an unborn child

Before killing an unborn child, the abortionist must first determine how long the baby's mother has been pregnant. Only by determining how long the baby has been alive can the abortionist choose the most effective method to kill it.

Pregnancy is divided into three trimesters. The first trimester lasts through the 12th week. The second trimester begins at week 13 and continues through week 24. The third trimester is the remaining time until the baby is delivered. For each trimester specific methods of abortion are used.

This section describes the different methods of abortion use. They are gruesome and not included to shock you but to inform you.

Methods of Abortion

Abortion is the medically induced premature death of a pre-born baby in the womb. At conception the first cell contains the complex genetic blueprint for every detail of human development. Each baby is an individual, distinct from her/his parents. 50 million of these babies are killed every year by abortion.

In the first week there are micro-abortions caused by drugs and devices that prevent implementation. After implantation there are those induced by drugs such as RU 486, Methotrexate and prostaglandins.

In the first trimester there are surgical abortions like suction and Dilation and Curettage (D&C). In the second and third trimesters there are instillation types, Dilatation and Evacuation (D&E), intracardiac injections and partial birth abortions.
