This year’s All Ireland Rally for Life is perhaps the most important rally yet and it is a mere two weeks away! It is so important that we make this year’s rally in Belfast as powerful as it can be. We must send the message that the Irish people, from the North and South, reject abortion and demand more for Irish women and children than the empty promises that abortion activists have to offer.
 
This is only possible with the help of people like you.

 
With the formation of this new government, pro-abortion activists have ramped up their vicious attacks on the 8th amendment- the amendment in the constitution that protects the right to life of both the mother and child. 
 
The Government has announced that it will look into holding a Citizens’ Assembly on Abortion.  Such an assembly would certainly set the stage for a referendum on the Repeal of the 8th Amendment in Ireland sometime in the near future.
 
These attacks on life are also taking place in Stormont, where pro-abortion deputies are repeatedly pushing to bring abortion for severe disabilities to Northern Ireland.
 
This year’s Rally in Belfast is a chance for the pro-life community to come together in a positive and joyful way to let the world know that - despite the falsehoods put out by the media and the threats that have come from the United Nations – we will stand strong together, north and south, to defend the lives of the innocent unborn.
 
Now, more than ever, it is important that we make our voices heard and speak up on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves.  The All Ireland Rally for Life is our opportunity to do just that.
